introduction/brief CV

I teach advanced biochemistry, metabolism, brain energy metabolism, inborn errors of metabolism, human nutrition, and biochemistry of the eye at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. My research area is in understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms of diabetic retinopathy. My core research interest is in neurodegeneration and neuroprotection in the diabetic retina.
