Nouf Alzrayer is an assistant professor of special education at King Saud University (KSU). She received her Master’s degree in special education with an emphasis on intellectual disabilities and autism in 2012 from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. She also received her Doctorate degree in special education with an emphasis on augmentative alternative communication (AAC) and autism in 2017 from Texas Tech University in Texas. She is a board-certified behavior analyst-(BCBA). Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Review Journal of Autism & Developmental Disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Intervention in School & Clinic, Evidence-based Communication Assessment and Intervention. Her research interests include high-tech speech-generating devices (SGDs) and social-communication skills in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities, Skinner’s analysis of verbal behavior, and naturalistic teaching approaches.
