COURSE TITLE:    CE 623 USING COMPUTER FOR WATER RESOURCES SYSTEMS
 
CREDIT HOURS:    3 HOURS      
                                             
COURSE DESCRIPTION
            Theory and application of quantitative planning methodologies for the design and operation of water resources systems.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
 
Enable the students to orient modeling of water resource systems.
 
METHODOLOGY
           
            The course will employ the lecture/discussion format. The class will meet once a week for lecture/discussion. Questions from students are welcome at any time, and may on occasion lead to changes in presentation plans.
 
CLASS POLICIES AND EVALUATION
 
The Professor reserves the right to change the syllabus at any point; all changes will be communicated to students.
 
            Grading:  Grades will be calculated in the following way:
 
Participation (Attendance, Classroom Activities, etc)           30%  
Examination- Take Home Exam                                            30%
Class requirements (Assignments + Course project)              40%
 
. The project should be done by individual effort that will challenge your management and communication skills.
 
Class Attendance and Learning Teams:
 
Students should attend their class every week at and participate in the discussion. The class will be divided into two learning teams. All assignments will be team assignments and students are encouraged to work together and discuss all aspects of the course, but submit their own individual
work, when asked to do
