عن الدكتور فائز القحطاني
Dr. Fayez Alqahtani is an assistant professor at King Saud University (KSU). He has been lecturing in the university since 2002, teaching several information technology subjects. In 2004 he was appointed Director of the Computer Division at the Deanship of Student Affairs. Currently, Dr. Alqahtani’s is supervising number of graduation projects, authoring number of research papers in the area of knowledge management and Web 2.0 technologies. His research interests are related to the application of social technology in organisations and in business as well as in other contexts. He is a member of a number of academic and professional associations, such as the Association for Computing Machinery, the Australian Computer Society and the Association for Information Systems. Dr. Alqahtani conducted several research projects including investigating how enterprise architecture framework like GERAM could be used in software companies to improve their software development processes. Another project conducted by Dr. Alqahtani is exploring the implementation of Web 2.0 technologies within enterprise. Fayez Alqahtani has participated and presented in several academic events such as the Smart Tools and Services Consortium (2009), the e-CASE & e-Tech conference (2010) SEF Social Media Research Symposium (2013). In addition, he has authored a number of academic papers on Web 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0 area.
