Thesis and Projects
Prospective Thesis / Project / Independent Research Study Students
Students are welcome to take Ph.D. or Masters Project / Thesis / Independent Research Study with me. Students who are interested in the following area can contact me by email.
1. Image forensics
a) Image forgery detection. It includes the application of different rotation-shift-blur invariant methods to detect whether any image has undergone any type of forgery.
2. Voice disorder classification:
a) Acoustic analysis of medically disordered Arabic voice.
b) Automatic classification of voice disorder.
3. Speech / speaker recognition:
a) Arabic speaker recognition.
In these topics, detailed experiments on different types of feature extraction and classification methods are to perform.
4. Fingerprint recognition
a) Fingerprint recognition using texture descriptors.
b) Interoperability of fingerprint recognition.
5. Face recognition
a) Face feature extraction.
b) Face categorization.
c) Face feature selection
6. Biometrics
a) ECG
