In this course different topics are given either through devoted sessions or during the practical labs. The historical development of cosmetics, the different types of products, the different ingredients including the prohibited or limited ones, the FDA authority over cosmetics, the skin and its functions, preservatives in cosmetics are presented.
Labs are given including preparation and evaluation of many types of cosmetics products
