eSiHi Project

• I was assigned by Dr. Abduralraman Almoammar CEO of KSUMC and Prof. Fahad Alzamil, Dean of Medical College to be Physician Team and CPOE leader for eSiHi Project. This project is considered the most important step to King Saud University Medical City in terms of improving patient safety, physicians' compliance, administration guidance, quality monitoring, and work organization.
• Our tasks were:
  • Design the system and validate it
  • Design the workflow of entire specialties
  • Run Unit, Systemic, Integration Tests
  • Build and validate patient care orders and procedures orders
  • Build order sentences or details
  • Build order folders for clinicians
  • Train physicians
  • Design training materials
  • Design workflow of training
  • Design the schedule to train more than 1500 within 6-7 weeks and organize it to prevent hospital routine work
  • Build more than 200 PowerPlan
  • Attend AMIA Courses to improve knowledge and skill in order to guide us to the right direction

Proudly, with our outstanding work, we were able to save more than 20 millions SR (Cerner said)
