Human Resource Management

Course Description and Objectives

Human Resource Management (HRM) is an introductory course designed for business administration students and non-business majors. The course highlights the importance of Human Resource Management.  It provides the students an opportunity to learn the functions of HRM and the role of HR Managers in the present business context. A wide variety of HR basic topics will covered including: Introduction to HR, Personnel Planning and Recruiting, Testing and Selection of employees, Employee Performance and Appraisal, Employee Benefits and Services, Safety and Health and Global Human Resource Management.

At the end, it intends to make the students to familiarize with concepts and activities of HRM as a body of knowledge and know how the HR mangers execute the functions of HRM.
