The course aims to equip the student with the necessary tools to execute a research project in economics. Specifically, the student chooses a specific topic in economics, taking advantage of his previous study of economic theory, and methods. The course, also, aims to encourage the student to publish a summary of his research in the local, regional and international periodicalsTop of Form
Outlines:
 

• Review the steps of scientific research.
• Read and summarize a number of scientific research articles weekly. The student should be able to identify the steps of scientific research, choose the research topic, and review the methodology used.
•  Each student will choose a topic; determine the appropriate methodology, and estimate a suitable model.
• Discussion of the results.
•  Oral presentation.
