COURSE: OPTO 224 – Clinical Examination of the Visual System I
UNITS: 1 + 2 = 3 credits
Objective
In this course, the first of a series of five clinical courses, the student learn to perform
basic refraction examination techniques including: patient history, visual acuity, pinhole,
potential acuity measurement, Keratometry and objective methods for the
determination of refractive status, will be taught over ten weeks with one lecture hour
and four hours of clinical practice per week.
