'Understanding Legal Terminologies& Collocations in English'
A two-hour lecture which gives a hands-on guide on how to read a legal document in English for Arabic-speaking law students. This is achieved through identifying the nature of the legal language, derivatives, parts of speech, collocations and creating a glossary.

A 37- hour training programme (for staff) on IELTS academic module. Deanship of Graduate Studies/ (SUDLS) and Deanship of skills development - King Saud University, Riyadh; Saudi Arabia.
In May 2014, I have proposed a course based on my teaching and a needs analysis tool as a foundation for the course objectives, syllabus design, textbooks, recruitment and training. Once the proposal was accepted by the SUDLS -and later on the Deanship of skills development, I was in charge of it. This course offers an in depth coverage of all the four modules of the test; Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. While providing individual attention to tips and self-study techniques and the use of IELTS apps on tablets/smartphones. The training was conducted by 3 trainers including myself. When the course successfully achieved its objectives the first time, it was requested to be repeated periodically throughout the year.

This workshop aims at developing language self-study skills via ITunes U (ITunes university), podcasts and applications. It includes a hands-on tutorial which focuses on developing literacy skills, vocabulary, grammar and EAP through games, audio books, stories, videos, free online courses and a range of activities.

The course design/ recruitment/ training were my responsibility. The programme title was ''A preparation course to develop IELTS test-taking strategies and self-study techniques'

Conducted a one-day training session (for staff) on IELTS academic module. Deanship of Graduate Studies/ (SUDLS) - King Saud University, Riyadh; Saudi Arabia.
The workshop included a description of the four parts of the IELTS academic test, sample tests, band scores, self-study techniques and registration centres.
