Course Description:
    This course is designed to give a basic understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of medical genetics. It covers Central Dogma, Cytogenetics, Mutation, Mutation detection techniques, PCR, Cloning, Population Genetics and Clinical Genetics. In the practical the techniques used in Medical Genetics are covered like DNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, PCR, Gel electrophoresis, Bioinformatics.
