Bio: 
Bio: During my Ph.D time I worked on the synthesis of new amphiphilic poly(ionic liquid)s and their application in petroleum industry. Ammonium based poly(ionic liquid)s were synthesized due to their low cost compared to other families of ionic liquids and poly(ionic liquid)s. The synthesized poly(ionic liquid)s were applied in different petroleum industry applications such as demulsifiers for heavy crude oil emulsion, oil spill dispersant, corrosion inhibitors, and enhanced oil recovery. During my work in my PhD thesis, I tried to learn many preparation techniques such as silver and magnetite nanoparticles and their application in water treatment, epoxy coating, and oil spill remediation. After completing my Ph.D, I joined the Chemistry Department, King Saud University, Riyadh as an Assistant Professor. Currently, I am planning to synthesize new ionic liquids based on polymer wastes and modification of natural originated compounds and applied them in different industrial fields.
