Bio: 
Dr. M.J. Akhtar has completed his Ph.D. in 2012 in the field of biochemical and molecular toxicology evaluating the cellular response of some mineral nanoparticles in human lung epithelial cells. He qualified famous CSIR-UGC (NET) examination and got financial support from University Grants Commission (UGC), Govt. of India for his doctoral research. Akhtar has joined King Abdullah Institute for Nanotechnology at King Saud University since February 2013. He has published more than 30 peer reviewed articles in the field of nanomedicine and nanotoxicology. Dr. Akhtar is currently recognized reviewer of several journals like Free Radical Biology and medicine, Journal of Hazardous Materials to name a few. Currently, Dr. Akhtar is evaluating the biomedical properties of nanomaterials likely to be used in various discipline of medical science.
