Biography

I received my BA at (Imam University) in Riyadh 2007 (Honor); that enabled me to join KSU University as a teaching assistant. Subsequently, I crossed the continent to the U.K. in order to study abroad in the snowy, gloomy and rainy Britain.  I then spent a good two years at (Edinburgh University) in studying English for academic purposes (EAP) with particular emphasis on creative writing. From there I went on to Institute of Arabic & Islamic Studies in (the University of Exeter), in which I conducted MA in the History of Modern Middle East, particularly towards the Arabian Peninsula. Upon graduation, I embarked on my doctoral research at (Durham University) into the Saudi Diplomatic History in the 60s & 70s of the Twentieth-century, whereby I began researching extensively in how Saudi Arabia perceived and dealt with the Communist threat during the Cold War, which has helped me immensely to comprehend the contemporary debates on the state foreign policy throughout the twentieth century

Research Interests
My research pertains to the contemporary and diplomatic history of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Region on the second half of the 20th century. This leads me to pay particular attention to  Foreign policy analysis of the GCC  to trace the historical developments on politics and society
