Bio:
Muhammad Shoaib received his Ph.D. degree in Communication and Information System from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China in 2010. He received his M.Eng. Degree (2005) and B.Eng. degree (1995) from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. His areas of research include video compression techniques, multi-layer video coding, commercial Data Centre facilities and IP packet based network, infrastructure and security. He worked as a Senior Manager (IP Operations, South) in Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, Pakistan from 2001-2011. He also worked as a Maintenance Engineer in R. M. International from 1996-2001. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Information Systems Department, College of Computer and Information Sciences in KSU.
