Petroleum and Engineering Translation الترجمة في المجالات النفطية والهندسية

The main purpose of this course is translating engineering and petroleum specialized texts between Arabic and English, as well as implementing translation concepts in theory, terminology and documentation. Additionally, using texts related to the job market extracted from well-known resources and specialized websites in order to see if students are able to handle the translation process clearly and effectively.
 
Developing advanced translation skills is a key objective. Also, receiving practical training in authentic engineering texts by covering major branches of the field such as mechanical, chemical, petroleum, civil engineering, architecture, etc.  Moreover, this course intends to develope the students’ skills of speed, accuracy and fidelity.
