Hisham A. Alhadlaq, PhD هشام بن عبدالعزيز الهدلق

I have obtained my PhD in Medical Physics from the USA and have been a faculty member in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at King Saud University (KSU), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Currently, I am serving as director general of King Abdullah Institute for Nanotechnology (KAIN) at KSU. In addition to my appointment at KSU, I have worked as visiting assistant professor at Yale University, USA and Institute of Biotechnology and Nanotechnology (IBN) in Singapore. My research interests include: high resolution polarized light microscopy imaging, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), novel molecular imaging techniques, MRI shift and contrast agents, and metal nanoparticles as contrast and therapeutic agents. Recently, our lab group has been focusing on evaluating the bio-compatibility and toxicity of engineered nanoparticles and anti-cancer activity of nanoparticles. عضو هيئة التدريس بقسم الفيزياء والفلك بجامعة الملك سعود والمشرف العام على معهد الملك عبدالله لتقنية النانو. حاصل على درجة الماجستير في الفيزياء الحيوية ، ودرجة الدكتوراه في الفيزياء الطبية من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. ناشر لأكثر من خمسة وأربعين بحثا محكما في مجلات أوروبية وأمريكية مصنفة في مجالات التصوير الطبي ، وتطبيقات تقنية النانو الحيوية والطبية، وتعليم الفيزياء في المرحلة الجامعية بقرابة ألف وأربعمائة استشهاد حتى الآن. عمل أستاذا زائرا في جامعة ييل الأمريكية، وأستاذا زائرا في معهد تقنية النانو والتقنية الحيوية بسنغافورة.
