Hadir Mohamed Maher Shalaby

Dr. H. Maher Shalaby is currently employed as a professor in the department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dr. H. Maher Shalaby obtained her BSc degree in pharmaceutical sciences (June 1999). Then she got her master degree (April 2003) and then PhD (November 2005) in Analytical Chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University (Egypt). She also was employed as a post doctoral research fellow in Department of Pharmacal Sciences, Harrison School of Pharmacy, Auburn University, Alabama, USA by a grant awarded by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education for one year (2008-2009). Dr.Shalaby was employed as demonstrator (2000-2003), assistant lecturer (2003-2005), assistant professor (2005-2011) then associate professor (2011-till now). All these appointmants were in the department of pharmaceutical analytical chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria , Egypt. Then she has been employed as associate professor (Feb. 2011-May 2015) then as professor (May 2015 till now) in the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dr. H. Maher Shalaby has received several awards for research and academic excellence; Alexandria University's honor list (Alexandria, Egypt): September 1999 and Alexandria University award for scientific encouragement (Alexandria, Egypt): 2010. In addition, she also got Acdima Research Award (Amman, Jordan) for the best published manuscripts for the year 2010.Dr. Maher is interested in different branches of analytical chemistry mainly; Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Control; Forensic Analysis; Chromatography and Separation Techniques; Chemometry, Method Development and Optimization. She has published over fifty peer-reviewed papers and several research abstracts/posters at scientific international conferences. She is a member in the Egyptian Syndicate of Pharmacists since 1999.She is also a reviewer of several highly cited journals specialized in Analytical Chemistry.
