• Master of Infectious diseases with distinction from the university of Western Australia (Feb 2011 to Dec 2012).
Dissertation title: Functional characterization of an endogenous plasmid from Helicobacter pylori.
Supervisors: A/Prof Mohammed Benghezal and Dr Yakhya Dieye.
• Bachelor degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, 2008, King Saud University, Collage of Applied Medical Sciences, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Including one year of internship at laboratory department at king Abdul-Aziz medical city –National Guard Health Affairs, Riyadh. Started, from March 2007 to April 2008).
• During the internship, I covered the following areas:
Microbiology, Chemistry, Pathology, Blood bank, Hematology, Molecular Genetics, Cytogenetics, Immunology(Serology and HLA&flowcytometry) and Toxicology .
WORK EXPERIENCE
• Medical Technologist in the Electron Microscopy Unit at Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Department in National Guard Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. (From June 23, 2008 to February 18, 2009).
• Demonstrator in Clinical Laboratory Sciences department, King Saud University, Collage of Applied Medical Sciences, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (2011- present).
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Courses:
• Academic writing course (Advanced Composition) at University of British Columbia Writing Centre in Vancouver, Canada. (From 05/11/10 to 06/10/10)
• the Langara English for Academic purposes (LEAP) program at Langara College in Vancouver, Canada. (From June 24, 2009 to October 23, 2009)
• Training at Military Central Laboratory & Blood Bank laboratory, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (from 27.06.2006 to 26.o7.2006), during this period I covered the following areas (Histopathology, Biochemistry, Blood bank, Hematology, Tissue Typing and Microbiology).

• 2nd Annual meeting of the Saudi society of medical microbiology & infectious diseases (19th -20th January 2008).
• 2nd Avian &pandemic Influenza training workshop organized by the GCC centre for infection control & Saudi Society for public health in collaboration with WHO,NAMRU-3 &CDC (05-09 January 2008).
• AIDS International DAY on the 28th of November 2007.
• International symposium &workshops; Current Concepts & Issues in pathology & laboratory medicine (19-21 November 2007 G).
