  1. Hands on Synthetic Chemistry:Azoles, carbohydrate, amino acids derived organic ligands with biological significance, their coordination compounds using various metal ions viz, CuII, CoII, ZnII, SnIV, CuI, AgI, RuIII, PtII and Organometallic compounds of Ruthenium using various arenes.
  2. Experience for the characterization of synthesized compounds: Using various spectroscopic techniques viz, Uv-Vis, FTIR, (1H, 13C, 31P, 119Sn, 195Pt) NMR, EPR (solid and liquid), FAB-MS, ESI-MS, Single X-ray Crystallography.
  3. Well-Acquainted with Biophysical Techniques for the Identification of biologically active compounds: DNA and Protein binding studies using Absorption Spectroscopy, Fluorescence Spectroscopy (viz, Ethidium Bromide Quenching Assay, Phosphate Binding Assay, Tryptophan Quenching Assay, Synchronous Fluorescence), Circular Dichroism, Gel Electrophoresis, Gel Documentation.
