This composition course aims at introducing students to basic concepts of paragraph writing which covers: pre-writing techniques and moves onward to a more defined paragraph-related elements including; restricted topics, developed topic sentences, well-organized and an effective support of the controlling idea, as well as coherence and unity.
Two kinds of paragraphs are highlighted in this course; the narrative paragraph, and the descriptive paragraph.
