Samina Hyder Haq

I did my Master of Science from Quaid _i_Azam University Islamabad. Pakistan, went for Ph.D to University of Manchester. U.K on Science and Technology Scholarship. My Ph.D thesis title was "gene expression of Type X collagen." I specialized in various techniques related to chondrocyte cell culture growing them on plastic as well as within three dimentional collagen gel. My research interest basically focussed on the diseases of bone specially osteoarthritis. To persue my interest in chondrocyte matix biology I worked in the lab of well known scientist Jeremy Saklatvala at the Kennedy institute of rheumatolgy ( Oxford University U.K) .
