Temporomandibular Disorders and Occlusion

Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) complex and its associated cranio-mandibular structure play a vital role in the treatment and management of dental conditions. All dental treatments should aim toward maintaining the normal function of the TMJ without alteration. Therefore, dental practitioners should acquire the basic knowledge to enable them to examine their cases and document any abnormal findings before the commencement of treatment.

PG Orthodontic Clinics

This clinical course represents the first of a series of similar courses that spread over all the three years of the graduate studies.

Clinical Orthodontics

The course is given over a period of 15 weeks in the 1st semester. In each week, a group of students will be presented with a lecture, while other will attend a problem-based tutorial sessions. Lectures are focused on orthodontics subjects, such as, diagnosis and treatment planning, early orthodontic treatment, management of A-P skeletal problems, orthodontic treatment of cleft lip and palate patient.
