يتناول هذا المقرر موضوعين رئيسيين، الأول يضم مقدمة عن علم العقاقير  الخام  ومصادرها الطبيعية وموادها الفعالة وطرق تحضيرهـا واستعمالاتها الصيدليه والطبية. أما الجزء الثاني فيشمل مقدمة عن أساسيات التحليل الكروماتوجرافي بأنواعه المختلفه وتطبيقاته  المهمة  في مجال تحليل الأدوية.

Network layer services: Packet-switching, VC & datagram; Routing Algorithms:  Shortest path algorithms, Distance Vector, Link State, Multicast vs. Broadcast; Internetworking: encapsulation, fragmentation, IP protocol, IP addressing & subnetting, ICMP, ARP, DHCP; Internet routing: OSPF, BGP.

Lecture and laboratory instruction in basic dental laboratory techniques covering base-plate and occlusion rims, simpler denture repair, construction of study models for orthodontic purposes, cast construction and waxing single unit restoration.

DESCRIPTION           :
A lecture and laboratory course on the physical and mechanical properties of materials in dentistry. Emphasis will be placed on those materials used in the clinical setting, their composition and manipulation.

This course studies the prevention and management of medical and/or dental emergencies that may occur in the dental setting. Topics covered include methods of prevention, emergency equipment/drugs, recognition and management of emergencies, and activation of the Emergency Medical aids.
