This course studies the prevention and management of medical and/or dental emergencies that may occur in the dental setting. Topics covered include methods of prevention, emergency equipment/drugs, recognition and management of emergencies, and activation of the Emergency Medical aids.
Management of organizations' data needs: Emphasis is on the management and implementation issues pertinent in a business information systems environment. Topics include data access methods; relational database management systems; query languages; database design and performance; data administration; and, data dictionaries.
Process of land development including: Types of market studies, financing projects, basic feasibility analysis, site selection and analysis, environmental regulations affecting development, process of developing master plan concept, site engineering and storm water management, and housing types selection.
