Consecutive & Bilateral Interpreting 1

In this course, students are expected to practice the consecutive and bilateral interpreting of a wide range of long and short speeches/talks in both directions (English/Arabic & Arabic/English). The main focus will be placed on resolving the various problems and difficulties encountered in this type of interpreting, with a special focus on terminology, lexical borrowing and coinages, abbreviations and acronyms, and Arabization
