This course is intended to introduce the students to the techniques and skills needed to comprehend a variety of reading passages on different themes. Together, we will read passages on topics such as education and student life, city life, business and money, and jobs and professions, just to name a few. It is expected that the students will develop a set of critical-thinking skills, make use of vocabulary building strategies and acquire various language skills.
