The objective of the course is to give to the student the basis for developing visual applications. Using a carefully selected visual programming language, the following topics are studied: OO design,  OO programming techniques, Modular programming, Data structures review (vectors, linked lists, files), GUI Design rules, Flow control and Exception handling, Event handing, Model View Control (MVC) architecture, Swing model and components, Multithreading, Access to databases. 

Course Description: Riemann Sums, Area, Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, Definite Integrals, Numerical Integration. Transcendental Functions with their Differentiation and Integration, Indeterminate Forms.

The goal of the course objectives will be accomplished through the chapters’ objectives:

Chapter 1: Introduction: General information about the waste management and disposal.

Chapter 2: Sources and classification of wastes

Chapter 3: Effects of waste on the health, safety and environmental.

Chapter 4: Local and international laws, regulations and standards related to waste treatment and management.

Chapter 5: Waste-management hierarchy

Chapter 6: Main processes of disposal

Chapter 7: Industrial solid waste treatment
