يتدرب الطلاب على الاستماع من النصوص المسجلة في أقراص من خلال مختبر الحاسب الموجود في المعهد.

كذلك تعرض المقاطع الصوتية والحوارات ويعرض الجهاز النطقي للطلاب للتعرف على دور كل عضو في إنتاج الأصوات ومساعدة الطالب لإدراك التشابه في بعض الأصوات ليستطيع التفريق بها حتى يتمكن من فهم ما يستمع إليه..

Course Description: This course consists of didactic, pre-clinical and clinical components. It covers the following: 1.       Periodontium in health. 2.       Etiology, pathogenesis, and diagnosis of periodontal diseases. 3.       Principles and techniques of disease prevention therapy. 4.       Instrumentation, knowledge and practice of periodontal instruments. 5.       Examination, diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment of patients with early periodontal diseases.

·         Course Description: This course consists of a didactic and clinical component with four credit hours. It will cover: The treatment of different types of periodontal diseases. The interrelation between periodontics and related dental specialties. Introduction to the surgical approaches in the management of moderate to advanced periodontal diseases Surgical implant procedures and maintenance of implant Communication, presentation and writing skills development Introduction to evidence based and problem based learning
