Nuclear Magnetic resonance relaxation Time As a Diagnostic Parameter for Reservoir characterization

Field observations have been reported and stratigraphic column was constructed. Porosity was measured and permeability was calculated from capillary pressure data. Transverse nuclear magnetic resonance relaxation time was derived from capillary pressure data. NMR fractal dimensions were calculated. Based on the results the sandstones of the Shajara Reservoirs of the Shajara Formation of the Permo-Carboniferous Unayzah Group were divided here into three units.

ROS-modulated therapeutic approaches in cancer treatment

Purpose: Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are produced in cancer cells as a result of increased metabolic rate, dysfunction of mitochondria, elevated cell signaling, expression of oncogenes and increased peroxisome activities. Certain level of ROS is required by cancer cells, above or below which lead to cytotoxicity in cancer cells. This biochemical aspect can be exploited to develop novel therapeutic agents to preferentially and selectively target cancer cells.

Relationships between adult asthma and oxidative stress markers and pH in exhaled breath condensate: a systematic review

Oxidative stress has a recognized role in the pathophysiology of asthma. Recently, interest has increased in the assessment of pH and airway oxidative stress markers. Collection of exhaled breath condensate (EBC) and quantification of biomarkers in breath samples can potentially indicate lung disease activity and help in the study of airway inflammation, and asthma severity. Levels of oxidative stress markers in the EBC have been systematically evaluated in children with asthma; however, there is no such systematic review conducted for adult asthma.

CLS 212 Medical Microbiology

     This is a general Medical Microbiology course intended for students outside the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences (CLS). Medical Microbiology is a central discipline in the medical sciences and is concerned with the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of infectious diseases. The structure of the course is based on presenting the fundamentals of microbiology to include structures, morphology, and classification of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.

Quantum Geometric Flows

We develop a novel approach to quantum geometry based on geometric flows, and we propose
that this quantum geometry can be used to describe quantum gravity. Thus, we first identify
the degrees of freedom for the dynamical system describing such geometric flows. We then are
able to demonstrate that Raychaudhuri equation is the classical field equation obtained from
the Hamiltonian (and action) of such a dynamical system. As we have the full Hamiltonian
(and action) for the geometric flows, we are able to quantize this system using a functional

كيف ينشأ الزمن ؟
ليكن لدينا كون به جسيم واحد فقط، في كون كهذا، لا يمكن تعريف زمن بسبب عدم مقدرتنا على تعريف ساعة فيزيائية نقيس بها الزمن، و المقصود بالساعة : القدرة على قياس التغير، و هذه الساعة كي تتوفر يجب أن نعّرف صفة معينا لهذا الجسيم يمكن قياس تغيرها – مع الزمن- بمقارتنها مع مقياس يحمل نفس الصفة.
ولو أخذنا هذه المرة كونًا به جسيمين  ربما يتراءى للبعض أنه من الممكن تعريف زمن في هذا الكون، ولكن أيضا في هذا الكون لا يمكننا تعريف ساعة، و يتضح ذلك من خلال النقاش التالي:
