Principles of Dental Public Health &Community Dentistry for Fifth year students, 4 hours at Malaz University Campus (MUC) Sundays / 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm (lecture). 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm (project).

The objective of this course is to explore the concepts of the dental public health in the light of the oral health problems found in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Priority will be placed on practical approaches to program planning, organization and financing of Saudi dental care, practice management and professional ethics. The “clinical” component of the course will focus on the student developing and implementing a community-based oral health project
