ENG 422: English Phonology (النظام الصوتي في اللغة الإنجليزية)

The course covers topics in phonology such as sound system, phonological processes/rules, syllables, supra-segmental phonology(including stress, rhythm, and intonation), and distinctive features. Comparison between phonology and morphology on the one hand and phonology and phonetics on the other is also discussed.
