PA 233 – Health Administration

Course Description:
This course provides the student with a complete understanding of the structure
and operation of Saudi Health Care delivery system with a special focus on the
hospital. In addition, the course will introduce students to health care supervisory
principles and skills.

Conduct of the Course:
In addition to the mid-terms and final exams there will be a term paper and
presentation. For the term paper, student has to choose a topic of the one discussed in
class then write a paper about the topic, and then student will present his paper (Note:
using scientific journals articles will enrich your term paper).

Grading:
The final grade will be based on the following:
Class participation 10%
1st Mid-term 18%
2nd Mid-term 18%
Term-Paper 14%
Final 40%
