As a qualified doctor, forensic medicine resident, I have extensive knowledge in the medical field. Despite being relatively newly qualified in my field, my superiors felt confident in giving me a supervisory role within my department, demonstrating a faith in my capabilities that they have yet to regret. Although new to this position, these past few months have shown me the state of education and healthcare in Saudi Arabia and made me strongly believe that severe improvements are necessary. As a result, I decided to delve further into the political and legal aspects of medicine, as well as improve my interpersonal and leadership skills, in the firm belief that I can aid in its development and improvement, both now and in the future.
