Course Goals and Objectives: The objective of this course is to give the student a basic understanding of the physical and chemical processes that occur on and within the Earth, the sources of energy that drive these processes, and an understanding of how these processes have given rise to present state of the Earth through time, and how they continue to act to affect our everyday lives.
Textbook: The Earth an Introduction to Physical Geology, 8th Edition by Edward J. Tarbuck and Frederick K. Lutgens.
