I am an associate professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department. I have graduated from PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh India. I did my post graduation, M.Tech, from Indian Institute of Technology, kharagpur India and completed his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, in 1990. I have a vast experience of teaching and research. Prior to joining the Mechanical Department at KSU I served in India and Libya. I have served at various administrative and faculty positions in India and Libya. I have carried out five projects on various aspects of Turbomachines that ranges from blowers, hydraulic turbines, centrifugal compressors etc. Recently I ,along with the team, have concluded a research that concerned the operation of a simple gas turbine cycle with desalination.
My research interests include renewable energy, turbomachines and internal aerodynamics. My research papers include topics on spray combustion, intracomponental interaction in turbomachines, flow through cascades, renewable energy etc. He has supervised 3 MS thesis and many undergraduate projects particularly on turbomachines like axial compressor centrifugal compressor and pumps.
